There are a lot of methods on how to prevent profuse sweating that I want to share with you. If you’re someone that seems to sweat too much, than you really know how such a thing can take over your life. You just seem to sweat, even when it isn’t appropriate too. It is estimated in the United States alone, that millions of people currently suffer from this problem. Of those people, only a slim minority will actually go and seek treatment. Most people assume that it is just their “genetics” and that’s the way it is. Well, I’m here to tell you that you can prevent this problem. I’m going to show you exactly how to prevent profuse sweating.

One of the newest methods for treating this problem is Botox. You’re probably thinking that’s how you remove wrinkles from your face and it is. It works pretty much the same way. It is injected into the skin and instead of killing nerves (like with wrinkles), it kills sweat glands. For me, I’m not interested in killing my sweat glands, only to reduce their sweating.

Another method is the iontophoresis. This is when they send an electric current through the skin, which will end up damaging the sweat glands. This causes the glands to close while they repair themselves for a week. This is something that will require weekly treatment.

I think the best method to prevent profuse sweating is the all natural way. You’re sweating because your body is working harder than it is supposed to be. This can be directly attributed to your diet. Some foods will just cause your heart to beat faster and you get hot. By simply eliminating these foods you can actually prevent this problem.

One can choose from many thrombosed hemorrhoid treatments available. Though there are surgical thrombosed hemorrhoid treatments are available, but most of the people prefer home based treatments. For temporary relief, the hemorrhoid patient can use the following treatments:

Sitz Bath

Sitz bath is referred to taking bath with a little warm water. The patient can take this bath either in a bathtub or in some special basin that is placed on the top of toilet. He must at least bathe for 10 to 15 minutes under the warm water. This will give him relief from the swelling and the pain, arising from hemorrhoids. This is an effective way, especially, to reduce the pain arising out of prolapsed hemorrhoids.

Moist and Soft Wipes

Avoid using the conventional dry and relatively hard toilet paper which can irritate the external hemorrhoids. Instead, one can use moistened wipes or even rinsing the affected region using water will help. There are some special medicated pads available, which contain natural astringents including the witch hazel, which helps in reduction of swelling as well as alleviating the pain.

Using the suppositories or analgesic creams

Topical creams that are available especially for hemorrhoids (which are also known as suppositories) act as lubricants which help to ease the irritation, inflammation, and friction. Some of these also contain analgesics that make the pain nerves unconscious, giving temporary relief. Lidocaine, Benzocaine or even some other “-caine”s are some of the analgesics that can provide temporary relief. Some of the creams also help to reduce the swelling.

But these creams may not be suitable to all the people. Some of the people have allergies against these creams which may not help the cause, instead may worsen the case. So, appropriate care must be taken. These are some of the methods that may provide temporary relief but there are some thrombosed hemorrhoid treatments that treat the hemorrhoids permanently.

Thrombosed hemorrhoids can be treated in a number of ways. Both the home remedies and medicinal treatments are prescribed to treat thrombosed hemorrhoids. The most effective home thrombosed hemorrhoids treatments include taking sitz bath regularly, using stool softeners, and change in dietary and bowel habits. In addition, you can increase your physical activities or adopt some exercise regime. Sitz baths make one more conscious about anal hygiene. Warm water provides relief by soothing the affected area and also reduces swelling and pain up to some extent. If you have got strangulation and pronounced thrombosis, a physical technique squatting in hot water up to twenty minutes several times in a day are sure to help.

Many experts suggest other home based hemorrhoids treatment, the use of stool softeners which softens the stool and the patient do not feel any strain during bowel movement. Strain is one thing that should be avoided in case one has thrombosis. Along with stool softeners, one should eat foods that are highly fibrous such as bran, wheat or other grains that help in less stressful bowel movement. Consuming enough water is also recommended as water helps in digestion and also alleviates chances of constipation. Applying ice at the affected area is also a simple thrombosed hemorrhoids treatment because ice restricts the blood supply to the thrombosis. Along with the restriction of blood supply to the hemorrhoid, ice produces numbness in the inflamed area and thus reduces the pain. There is no need to apply ice directly but instead wrap it in a towel and then apply on the affected region for several minutes two to three times a day. Although taking regular walk for ten to twenty minutes is not a direct thrombosed hemorrhoids treatment, it increases the metabolism thus helps in the reduction of hemorrhoids symptoms.

We all want to feel good in our body, but let’s admit it, we also want to look good. The way we connect to our looks is part of how we feel, right? Well, one of the questions I get asked a lot by my private clients is, “How can I get rid of this puffiness around my eyes/in my face/insert trouble spot of your own?”. Of course, there are tons of products on the market that are telling us what to put ON these trouble spots, but you know that I am going to tell you that what you put IN your body is where it all starts.

Before we look at what can help to decrease puffiness let’s take just two

seconds to give service to what can CAUSE it:
excessive sugar and caffeine. If

you swear you don’t really use either and you still find your self with bags around

your eyes: First, really double check the content of your food. Sugar is sneaky. It

likes to hide-out under other names and guises. Second, check with your own

practitioner or specialist to help you understand what is happening for you

specifically.

Now let’s look at four foods that will help fight inflammation for good!

1. Broccoli – is excellent for reducing eye inflammation. This great green

veggie contains double the vitamin C of an orange and just about as much calcium

as a glass of whole milk. Best to be bought (and used!) with bright, green florets and

firm stalks. **Extra Tip** Steamed al dente is the best way to go. Raw is

hard to digest. Cooked any other way and you lose all those great nutrients.

2. Grapes – when it comes to reducing inflammation we are really talking

about the juice part of the grape, but NOT store packaged grape juice. Grapes

contain vitamin A, B-Complex and C and relieve any swelling in the throat, mouth,

gums and eyes. (Grapes are done ripening once they are picked so choose a mature

bunch when buying!)

3. Hemp Oil – let me say right away that this is not marijuana being

talked about here. Hemp oil is loaded with our friends Omega 3’s (more than flax)

but also has what is called GLA’s (gamma-linoleic acid) which stimulate the growth

of healthy hair, skin AND reduce inflammation. Use on salads, baked root

vegetables and as a dressing. **Extra Tip**Don’t use it for cooking and

you are not getting the benefits if you take it in capsule form.

4. Job’s Tears – sounds like a magic potion, doesn’t it? It is actually a

whole grain! Before it is hulled it has a black, sturdy case which earned it the great

name. Once hulled, it looks more like barley. You may have even had it at one time

and thought you were having just plain old barley soup. This grain is wonderful for

cooling any inflammation and can also be very helpful for those suffering with

arthritis.

Plantar hyperhidrosis is a form of excessive sweating that occurs mostly at the feet. There can be 2 main types of hyperhidrosis, and they are primary hyperhidrosis and secondary hyperhidrosis. Primary hyperhidrosis is usually not caused by any other factors other than genetics. It is commonly exhibited by sweating in the underarms, feet or hands. The other form is secondary hyperhidrosis, which is caused by other conditions and diseases. Examples include malaria, heart attack, tuberculosis, low blood sugar levels and many other diseases which can cause excessive sweating.

To try and cure plantar hyperhidrosis, you must understand the reasons why your feet are sweating excessively. Excess sweating may be caused by the reasons described below.

Firstly, plantar hyperhidrosis may be caused by hereditary reasons. If either of your parents have plantar hyperhidrosis, there is a high chance that your condition is caused by genetics.

Plantar hyperhidrosis can also be caused by your own habits, mainly through your diet and hygiene practices. Drinks like caffeine or alcohol, along with spicy foods, have all been known to cause plantar hyperhidrosis.

If you taking drugs or medication, you may want to find out whether the medication causes excessive sweating. When you are a pregnant or going through menopause if you are a woman, you may also experience plantar hyperhidrosis occasionally.

Whatever the causes of your plantar hyperhidrosis, you should be looking to find its causes and cure it as soon as you can, as persistent foot sweating can cause other more serious diseases. These diseases include athlete’s foot and fungal infections and several others.

Are you wondering how to treat external hemorrhoids? At first people may be unaware of all the different options they have when they are faced with hemorrhoids and how to cure them. Choices consist of over the counter medications, pills or surgery. Most times these remedies may not seem like the most desirable choice, so for those people there is another choice.

These are a few options on how to treat external hemorrhoids in natural ways that work very well. These ways are fast and cost a lot less money than traditional medicines. One concern is that the traditional medicines you get over the counter are full of chemicals that can eventually make your hemorrhoids worse over time. A natural approach Will not just cover up your symptoms, like these do, but will actually help you get rid of your hemorrhoids.

One way to get relief almost immediately is to soak in a warm saltwater bath. Just soak in it for 15 to 30 minutes. You can do this as often as you like, but soak at least once a day. This will not only soothe the anal area but it will improve circulation to the area, making it heal quicker. It also helps keep the area clean.

Topical ointments that have ingredients like vitamin E, witch hazel or mineral oil and some other herbs; when applied to the area will also help. You have to make sure that these ointments don’t have things like alcohol in them, because this could cause more irritation to the hemorrhoids. Some ointments contain ingredients that would dry out your skin or cause the area to rupture more blood vessels. If you have the right formula to go by, you could even make your own ointment. Just a trip to your local drug store for the right ingredients and you would have what you need.

Increasing your activity level will improve blood flow to the area and promote faster healing of your hemorrhoids. Sitting for too long will decrease the blood flow and add pressure to the area making the hemorrhoids worse. Daily exercise and increasing the amount of fiber in your diet are essential. Also you should increase your intake of water. The fiber and water will help keep your bowel movements soft, reducing the straining and pressure that often start hemorrhoids in the first place. It will also reduce the chance of aggravating the ones you have.

The City of Moultrie, located in Colquitt County, in SW Georgia, recently received it’s first case of the H1N1 virus; better known as Swine Flu. Needless to say, there is understandable concern in this growingl agricultural community. With many families living within close proximity to one another, the threat of an infection spreading amongst family members and the public at large is real.

Coupled with this, school resumes on August 17, 2009, with thousands of children and young adults facing potential exposure to an uncertain flu season. What’s a parent, or, anyone else for that matter, to do?

Among the heavily publicized preventive measures that everyone should take are:

Washing your hands
Covering your mouth when coughing
Avoiding people who are illA Healthy Immune System is the Cornerstone of Disease Prevention

An approached that is often completely overlooked and rarely talked about, yet, is critical in your prevention efforts and is usually within the control of every citizen in the county; is making sure that you have a healthy immune system; particularly is the vital for children, the elderly, and those with existing respiratory problem conditions.

With more and more respected doctors and scientists coming to the conclusion that an optimized immune system is the cornerstone of good health and disease prevention, it’s important that everyone, whether at risk for H1N1, or not; to take steps now to improve their bodies natural and unique defenses. Simply put, a properly functioning immune system will enable the body to mount a stronger resistance to the Swine Flu.

How Your Immune Response Can Be Optimized

Well, years ago this might have been a challenge as there was no one clear-cut way that was proven to actually directly impact the immune system. Today, however, that has changed.

Thanks to extensive research by such renown experts like Drs. Gustavo Bountous, the “Father of the Elemental diet,” immunologist, Patrician Kongshavn, scientists, and glutathione expert, Dr. Jimmy Gutman, people all over the North American continent can now take that ‘action step’ to optimize the immune response. How, by simply raising the body’s natural glutathione levels.

How To Naturally Raise Your Glutathione Levels to Optimize Your Immune System

There are drugs that raise glutathione, however they all produce size effects, and are not recommended for long-term use. One of the more commonly available and potent glutathione precursor, is NAC (n-acetyl-cysteine). It is a standard treatment for acetaminophen overdose. But, it has two common problems:

Carries a certain toxicity
Has rapid peaks and declines in within hoursThe first problem with NAC is obvious; TOXICITY. None of us wants to add more toxicity to our bodies; as we are already being bombarded with toxins from our polluted environment. Secondly, since NAC has, what is termed, “a short half-life,” due to it decline within hours, maintaining elevated levels of glutathione requires usage several times a day; and that is very hard on the body.

Fortunately, there is a better way. For the first time, there is a natural, safe, clinically-proven way to raise and sustain elevated glutathione levels using a bioactive whey protein. But, this is not just any whey protein, like the kind you can purchase from your local health food store. No, this special undenatured bioactive whey protein has several impressive credentials. Note the following:

75 – Method-Of-Use Global Patents
13 – Number of years in practical use
34 – Number of PUBLISHED medical articles
35 – Number of years of scientific researchSo, if you live in Moultrie, or, Colquitt County, Georgia, or, anywhere else for that matter, and you want to take preventive measures to reduce your chances of getting the Swine Flu; then you need to take an ‘action step’ right now in behalf of your own health, by raising your glutathione levels. If you want to do that naturally, this special bio-available whey protein comes highly recommended.

Does MSM work wonder to treat candida? That question is what this article is going to discuss about, based on a friend. He has been taking MSM for over 2 weeks now and it still doesn’t seem to have had any effect yet. She is wondering if he should keep taking it after he has finished the batch. He raises a problem and asks me, what are other people’s experiences with MSM, does it take a while to start working? (he is taking a reasonably high dose).

Some people I ask, generally they do not see huge effect with MSM. But, on some particular symptoms, MSM does work wonder. For example, a friend of mine, Jane, she has not noticed any particular effect from taking MSM, except that her allergies and asthma are much better and she went off her meds (medicines) within 3 days. She takes 5000 mg a day in 1000 mg pills throughout the day.

Another experience is coming from Linda. For her, MSM didn’t do much for her candida, she has to admit, but MSM did wonders for her allergies within a week. She thinks it depends where your candida is – the pH changes will make it harder for candida to live outside the digestive tract, but if your candida isn’t systemic it might not help much.

Persevere with it – some people say it can take 2 months or so to have a noticeable effect, and even if it doesn’t get rid of the candida it does all sorts of other good things, improving the health of your skin, hair etc.

If you have been seeking a natural angular cheilitis cure, there are a number of simple home remedies you can try which will help bring you some relief. If you have this condition, you are likely to have very painful cracks and cuts around the mouth edges and you may even have crusting on your tongue.

One of the difficulties with treating any condition which affects the mouth is the fact that unlike other body areas, we cannot simply “rest” it! We need to use our mouths all the time for eating, drinking and speaking and the constant movement is one of the problems. If you visit your doctor, you are likely to be given Cortizone Cream but sadly, most people find this to be ineffective.

Cracking lip edges are caused by bacteria which lives naturally and permanently on the lips. Usually, this bacteria causes no problems and it is only when something happens to cause an overgrowth that they cause the very painful symptoms of angular cheilitis. Some people might just experience a single, isolated outbreak whereas others might suffer for months or even years on end. There is not always an obvious reason why it has developed, but for many people the root cause is apparent.

You are more at risk if your immune system is low. People who lack Vitamin B12 are also more likely to have the condition as are pen and nail biters and finger and thumb suckers. In the elderly, angular cheilitis is often caused by ill-fitting dentures.

One simple natural angular cheilitis cure is to have ill-fitting dentures professionally corrected. You should then soak them overnight in a medicated mouthwash or mild bleach solution to ensure that any bacteria is killed off. Also, keep the mouth as clean and germ-free as possible by regularly using a mouthwash.

For persistent finger biters or pen suckers, try painting the offending objects with anti nail-biting liquid. This will discourage the practice and give the cracking lip edges time to heal.

If you feel that a weakened immune system or lack of Vitamin B12 could be an issue, start taking a good all-round multivitamin and you may find that the cracking lip edges start to heal after a few weeks.

To get some temporary relief, one good natural angular cheilitis cure is to thinly coat the sore areas with petroleum jelly or unperfumed lip salve. This will offer some protection and the fact that the splits are no longer exposed to the air will stop much of the pain.

If you have had cracking lip edges for more than a couple of days, it is likely that a fungal infection has taken hold and then it becomes very difficult to eliminate. However, it is still possible to treat angular cheilitis within just 1 day by using a very effective natural treatment which is guaranteed to work.

It has been estimated that 50 percent of all Americans over the age of 50 suffer from thrombosed and bleeding hemorrhoids. It is also estimated that as many as 89 percent of the population will have hemorrhoid problems and symptoms over their life time.

Definition of hemorrhoids (piles)

Hemorrhoids can be defined as clumps or cushions of tissue in the anal canal, which is the last four centimeters from where the stool passes to the exterior via the anus. They contain blood vessels and supporting muscle and elastic fibers. Hemorrhoids are present in everyone. They are only considered a disease or abnormal when the cushions enlarge with blood and become enlarged and cause problems.

It is though not known exactly why hemorrhoids enlarge. Possible reasons for hemorrhoids enlarging include lack or water and fiber intake, prolonged sitting on the toilet or at a desk and chronic straining to pass stools caused by constipation. Excessive straining in passing hard stools due to constipation interferes with the blood flow causing it to pool and enlarge the blood vessels. Lifting of heavy objects has also been linked to hemorrhoid problems. Long periods of standing may also cause symptoms. To learn how to be easily free from hemorrhoid problems go here.

Pregnant women

Women who are pregnant can get enlarged hemorrhoids thought to be caused by the downward pressure of the baby in the last six months of pregnancy. And in the birth process hemorrhoids can break out. However the problem may go away shortly after birthing and never arise again.

One theory of what causes hemorrhoid problems are that the pulling down and searing of a hard stool drags the hemorrhoid down and enlarges it. The process of aging and excessive consumption of caffeine and/or alcohol and digestive upsets has also been linked to hemorrhoid problems.

Connective tissues that support and hold blood vessels in place can become weaker with age causing hemorrhoids to enlarge, bleed and prolapse. Some people may only have a single occasion of bleeding hemorrhoids and pain while others are continuously plagued by ongoing symptoms.

Two types of problem piles

There are two types of problem hemorrhoids, internal and external. External prolapsed ones are located outside the annual sphincter and can become very itchy and painful. Internal hemorrhoids can also cause itching and discomfort.

Pain while going to the toilet, blood on the stool and on the toilet paper are signs of hemorrhoids. There may as well be a localized itching, burning or pain in the area of the anus and sometimes a discharge of mucus.

Hemorrhoids by themselves are rarely serious, but they can be extremely troublesome. However, they need proper diagnosis by a doctor as bleeding could be a result of colon or rectal cancer or something else may be the problem.

Preventive tip

Add fiber. Increase your fiber intake either through foods or fiber supplements or both. When fiber is taken with adequate liquids it softens the stools making them easier to pass to the exterior reducing the pressure on the hemorrhoids and helping reduce bleeding, enlarging of the blood vessels and inflammation.

Seeking relief from hemorrhoid problems is often an embarrassing topic to bring up with family, friends or even your GP. Well now there is no need to be embarrassed just go click on this link and your problems will be solved for you.
